Logo Design & Keyart Photography
Vox Hair has over 16 years experience in the hair and makeup industry, working alongside some of Australia’s most talented hairdressers, and winning State and National Awards. Meg Sutcliffe-Seppard proudly owns and manages Vox Hair residing in a beautiful bush setting within Jimboomba region in Australia.
Meg specialises in high fashion colouring and precision cutting. She loves the challenge of colour correction and “difficult hair”.
The Design Process
The creative direction was centred on Vox’s success in high fashion colouring, partially the way the chemicals would swirl together to make the liquid form. Overall the logo must be both original and meaningful.
The client was presented and was pleased with the monochrome font-based design.
The result is clean and elegant and, better yet, it guarantees that the spotlight remains on their success.
The client was provided with a full set of guidelines for logo and identity use, including colour palettes, fonts, and placement.
Design & Build
I played a number of roles. I was the director, model, photographer and lastly, I manipulated the image, to enhance the clients’ style.
The client’s request was simple: (1) to highlight the hair and makeup as the key features; (2) to make sure the details of the hair and makeup were enhanced only.
As a Photo Retoucher not only was I inventive, I also needed to understand the clients’ requirements for the product which was to be keyart for her consumers.
